Mario Tlaloc Araujo

Mario was born 4/25/07,diagnosed with Biliary Atresia 6/26/07. BA is a disease (~1 in 15K births) that causes inflammation/obstruction of the bile ducts resulting in back up of bile in the liver which destroys the healthy liver. 7/1/07, Mario had a surgical procedure called a Kasai and was added to the Liver transplant waiting list on 12/4/07. He received his first gift on 3/23/08 but was relisted due to a clotted hepatic artery. He received his second gift on 4/14/08. This is his story...

Last clinic appt, Mario insisted on keeping his rubber boots on(or as Dr. Horslen calls them: "Wellies")...so here he is naked except daiper and wellies. I will have to save this for the high school girlfriend!
