Dr Reyes came to rounds this morning with news of a liver that is on the way here. It is a good offer and he expects to have it this afternoon. It needs to be reduced but has all the veins/arteries that he needs to reconstruct Mario's hepatic artery. Mario could go to surgery as early as this evening, but maybe the morning...we'll know more and update more as this unfolds. As with any offer, we don't know it is a sure thing until we are actually in surgery...so we wait :)
